 It's a big scary world out there. None of us are promised an easy life; I do not know anyone who is exempt from loss, grief, pain, abrupt uninvited changes, or health challenges. If we think someone else's life is easy, we have not walked in their shoes.  You've seen those pictures of a speech bubble above a group of people's heads. "I'm worried about my Mom's health." "How will I pay off this car repair?" "Will I get that job I just interviewed for?" "I'm struggling with depression, will it ever go away?" " I wish someone would ask how I'm doing today." "A smile would really lift me up right now." "This a huge thing in my life, too big; will it ever change for good?" "How will life look without the one I just lost?" There is only One person who knows the deepest thoughts and angst of our heart. And He has promised to be with you. He is The Creator of you, so He knows you th...

No Shoulds

I don’t like to be “should-ed.” It weighs on my mind; that thing out there undone. Or someone else “should-ing” you. That’s even weightier. I had a leaning on The Lord about it all this morning. He said, “It’s not about doing, it’s about being. Being connected to The Vine. When you are connected and just are, with no “should-s”, I will lead you. You won’t miss out on anything as long as you are connected to Me. Keep your eyes on Me. I’m the one who inspires you. Keep yielded to Me. Let Me take care of all the details. I’ve made you for a purpose and it’s gonna be fulfilled. You have everything to look forward to and nothing to lose. Stop fretting and making this about you. Make it all about Me. You will not be disappointed. Now go and be a light.”

Now, I’m inspired! I have my orders to go “be.” That’s a lot easier.

“God blesses those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will receive it in full.” Matthew 5:6. Friends, keep hungering for The Lord Jesus. He’s promised that we’d be FULL! I want to make this a week of connecting to Him, how about you? Full sounds really good, especially if Jesus says it!
