Peace Giver

 It's a big scary world out there. None of us are promised an easy life; I do not know anyone who is exempt from loss, grief, pain, abrupt uninvited changes, or health challenges. If we think someone else's life is easy, we have not walked in their shoes.

 You've seen those pictures of a speech bubble above a group of people's heads. "I'm worried about my Mom's health." "How will I pay off this car repair?" "Will I get that job I just interviewed for?" "I'm struggling with depression, will it ever go away?" " I wish someone would ask how I'm doing today." "A smile would really lift me up right now." "This a huge thing in my life, too big; will it ever change for good?" "How will life look without the one I just lost?"

There is only One person who knows the deepest thoughts and angst of our heart. And He has promised to be with you. He is The Creator of you, so He knows you thoroughly. That really is a blessing. I've found that as I ask Him to guide my thinking, and give wisdom, He wows me with even better thoughts and solutions. 

My older car has been giving me repair bills of late. I'm determined not to stress over paying that/those bills. But I can tell the signs; not breathing deeply, getting lost with stories, or mindlessly eating Tostitoes(albeit the healthier kind). Ha! Holy Spirit reminded me this morning, that, "It's not falling apart, but falling into place!" I'd heard that before, and smiled with that nice, gentle reminder. Yes Lord, put everything in it's proper place, please.

I load up again on the promises that; "He will supply all my needs"..in Philipians 4:19.

He is Jehovah Jireh, which means, "The LORD will see to it," and "The LORD will provide."

"With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible." Matthew 19:16.

Remember how He loves our trust in Him and His Word? Remember how He really gets steamed when people trust in other things, or in themselves? It's like He's saying, "Here I am, I have the help you need. I have strength, courage, grace, victory, delivery, rescue,and protection you need. I'm here for the asking!" 

I have seen answers to prayer and provisions in the most miraculous ways! He is so Faithful!

Relying on Him, throwing it all at His feet, taking the risk to lean fully on Him for the answer, is totally worth it! The peace I get from letting Him take great care of it..well there is nothing that compares! He is for you and will work it all out for your good! 

I repent for worrying. Ask, Seek, Knock, and be surprised. 

One of my older clients, has a favorite song that she leads every evening before bedtime. "Trust and Obey..for there's no other way; to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey." It's simply precious! I leave you with one of my favorite verses:

"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. Not as the world gives, do I give you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Jesus, in John 14:27.
